I want bottom dwellers to clean up bits of shrimp and pellets
currently i have a syno

can i put clown loaches

i heard that if a fish eats a clown loach, it will killthe fish due to barbs?
is this true?

id like a shoal of clown loaches in there. what size is safe

the aro is at most 2 cms snouth to tail tip.

L24 or L25 or L114 Pleco ... good match and contrast to your red aro colors ^_^

Ray is a bottom dweller too and so are bichir

You will be looking for bulky adults at 8-11 inches which are ridiculously expensive. Young clowns are out of the question. Arowanas can reach adult size before the clowns can even do that. And yes, most predators choke themselves to death from the bifid spines of the loaches found below each eye.

More information.

yeah that pretty small...i dont think u would put any tankmate with it because of how fragile it is.

well, there are no rays available in nz, if there was guaranteed iw ould buy one:D

no big cats either but synodontis!

ok, so im stuck then lol i guess im stuck with the syno

How about a flagtail?

you can put clown loach in with the aro as small as 3-4inch with no problems at all i have done it

if you are scared just buy 3 as a tester

aros seam to know a fish will hurt them when they eat it like clown loach and tigers/dats
