I noticed my biggest RBS has a growth under his neck. I saw it about 3 days ago when I noticed he was breathing hard and staying by himself. He usually sits in front of tank waiting to eat. The growth is off center and is a little more on his right side. The growth is keeping his gills spread apart and making him breath hard. I say growth but to me it looks more like it is inflamed. There are no breaks in the skin though. I am treating with Binox (nitrofurazone) right now because it look bacterial to me. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

After the treatment of nitrofurazone he got more active and started eating again. He is back to his old self of being the dominate one in the tank. He still has that spot and to me it looks a little larger. I have not done anything else as far as treatments. Was thinking a prazi pro treatment just to see what happens.
