Bought two Snook from LFS today labeled Red Snook they are about 2" I hope they are really the Red Snook but I'll be happy even if they are the green. Shouldn't they start to show red around 4-5" or should they already be showing a good bit of red?

I would'nt mind getting one, But I don't like shopping at Petco or Petsmarts. They are the only places i know that got them in stock.

Thanks =) Yeah I'm not a fan of petco or Petsmart either got lucky at the LFS =)...When should they start showing red? Or are these guys not the red morph?

At that small size, many are the color you have, but may turn pink.
I bought a bunch a few years back, that looked like yours, and they all turned pink as they got older.
I prefer the natural color myself, but to each their own.
