Friday Night my Snooks spawned with about 250-300 eggs, here are some pics of them. They are about 7" and are great parents so far. Be sure to check back i will post pics of the fry that just started hatching (There is also a chance that the Salvini aslo fertilized some of the eggs so there could be some cool looking hybrids in this batch.

This will be one of those UPDATED Threads where I will take and show pics of the progression of the fry.

This should be great :D

Congrats on the spawn.

NICE! Why are they called snook? I thought snook was a cross between salmon and brook trout.

man thats so cool...that would be weird if the salvini..did in fact..fertilized the eggs...

Raise the fries! If you don't want them I could take some off you. I love Red Bay Snooks and they are hard to find around here

I also have a red bay. Great color on yours. Good luck with the eggs.

Their colors are actually very washed out to what they normally are i think due to the stress of their first spawn.
