Are Red Snooks difficult to keep? I would like to put one with an oscar (don't have yet), a senegal bichir (don't have yet), an EBJD (don't have yet), 2 green severums, and 4 blood parrots in my 125 gallon. I know that they get pretty big, but are they super aggressive like red devils, convicts, dovii, or jaguar cichlids?

Red bay Snooks are not super aggressive like Red Devils. I wouldnt keep a RB snook with a RD. The snooks have weak jaws and cant really defend themselves against a RD. They love to eat. Give them some feeders and watch them go to town. Their mouths are capable of stretching wide and can swallow pretty big fish. Probably the more mild mannered of the guapotes.

in terms of aggression, much more in common with the oscars and those others you have, not anywhere near the levels of rd and Parachromis. I would think it might eat the EBJD though

and it might eat a small senegal bichir if you got a small one, but if everything were big, then there is no issue.

So I won't put the bichir or the EBJD in there. It looks like I'll be buying both for my 90 and moving them to the 180 when they get full sized. So it would just be the oscar, the parrots, the severums, and the EBJD.
