My friend has 6 redbellies and a black piranha all about the same size 5-7 inches. He has had them together in the same tank for months now. They never actually fought with eachother and they swim with eachother! How is this possible????

They were probably all put in the tank at the same time,but unfortunatly the day will come when........ 
... it's inevitable, sighhh! Even if they are coexisting, doesn't mean there isn't stress in their environment.
Sooner or later that black is going to down the reds!!! I agree with Danger - get him another tank!!!
What size tank are they in now... You could just put a divider in and save yourself some money...
