Hi im looking into starting a new project, and i was wondering if a red oscar would be compatible with a small school of RBP and whether the tank conditions would be a compatible match, im not trying to have an oscar bullied and pirahna dont make good feeder fish :)

Bullied? It's gonna eventually get ripped apart and eaten.

Oscar's aren't very aggressive (relative to other large cichlids), and they're no match for a shoal of piranhas...

I seen a video of an oscar and 2 RBP coexisting in a 55gal is why i asked but then again the video was less then 3 mins long, i thought maybe if i got the RBP at a 1" stage they might accomidate themselves to my wishful thinking, but i would rather not risk losing an oscar of course. I assumed the success rate of the two(err i should say 14) coexisting to be next to nothing why i asked :) thanks again for the info.

I dont like the Oscars chances, even if the piranhas were constantly stuffed and well fed.

if the oscar were to ever show fear, act freaked out, or simply splash around the tank the piranhas would rip it to sheds just out of instinct, whether they were hungry or not.
