hi im getting a turtle setup with a red bellied turtle. its a 20 gallon tank and the turtle is 2 years old. i need some information on them like max size...

well, your going to need to get a much larger tank, the largest red bellied turtle was over 15" and make sure your setup has a basking spot w/ uvb/uva lighting. i recommend an above tank basking area to utilize the most of your tank for swimming.

Well you should have been doing you research but I am not going to lecture you on that.

Red bellies get WAY too big for a 20 gallon tank. You will eventually need a 150+ gallon tank depending on the dimensions. A pond would be even better though if you can do that. at 2 years it should have already outgrown a 20gal so something is definitely wrong. post pics and stats of the turtle if you can so that we can get an idea of the problem.

well she is already 2 years old. ill post pics ASAP. but im thinking on making an outdoor encloser for her. any ideas??

Four gallon= guppy tank. So cut out that idea entirely. Go with snake guy's advice, as genuine as it gets. Koi pond description? Might need to know.

well idk its like a little pond in her back yard. its a plastic one. but i couldnt but a fence around it...so thats probably a no...

if you cant fence around the pond then start saving for a really big tank. or you could put a preformed pond in YOUR backyard and fence that one in.
