Hey guys and gals.

New to monsterfishkeepers but have been on other fish forums mainly piranha-fury and ***********

I started keeping my red bellies about 4-5 years ago.

Finally , a year or so ago bought a breeding pair which resulted in my female pairing of with the male i bought.

Now i have 150-200 juvenile red belly piranhas that are growing fast and i have been overwhelmed at how much these lil guys can eat!

I jst wanted to say hello and look forward to learn more about other predatory fish for the future.

I should be posting in the classifieds soon,
Thanks!

Rob

Cool, my reds just recently spawned..right now I have a bunch of fry attempting to try to swim...just a day or two and I should be able to start feeding them brine shrimp babies....

what has been your process for getting them to survive/?

well having a 75gallon fry tank was nice.

But keeping a constant supply of brine shrimp is a must. had a system of 3, 2 liter bottles with airline tubing etc running constantly to hatch brine shrimp.

welcome to mfk..

its great that there are people out there trying to breed there piranhas..the natt in your avitar its quite a looker.. im in the process of starting breeding project for my brandtii (hold your applause ).. good luck with your fry..
