I just recently got 3 red bellies about 3" each. I was wondering if i could mix them with any other species of fish (possibly a catfish). I already have a pleco with them in a 75g tank. So I was wondering what else I could put them with. Thanks!

Nothing. I had a pleco in with my P's for nearly a year then one day the pleco was gone. It might last awhile but he might disappear one day too. Don't put anything else with them.

Mine only gets upset when the pleco get in his area sadly he did eat my crawfish last week

+1 I have been reading many stikies and threds on Piranha lately and once all the data is compiled and factored for BS that is the universal constant used in the Piranha tank mate equation.

if u have lot of hiding spots maybe but piranha will still find and kill i keep a pleco in my 180gal with my 12 red bellies and thats it the pleco is about 11in.

Of everything I looked at plecos seam to be the most likely exception, but there are still many tails of eventual loss of pleco.

Whats the point of having pleco in your piranha tank? are you having algae problem? most plecos aren't even that great with algae and they produce a lot of waste.
