Hi, i have a red belly pacu, a pleco and also a cory, and i was thinking about adding some plants to provide some hiding places and also to make the tank look better. The only problem is my red belly, i don't know if he is going to destroy or even eat the plants. Maybe there are some kind of plants that could resist...
Thank you for your help! :)

He'll eat the plants, and then he'll eat the cory, and then he might eat the pleco. I hope you have a pond ready for this guy. He'll grow to 14 to 16 inches within the first year, and reach a maximum size of two and a half to three feet long and a foot and a half tall.

^ Exactly^
BTW,corydora need to be kept in schools.

If the pacu dosen't, the pleco will, and if the pleco dosen't, he'll uproot it. Your safest best is probably hornwort. That's my advice. Now for a comment, Plecos need at least 75 gallons, pacus should at least have 300. The pacu will NOT eat a pleco.

I would never say a fish would NOT do anything. They are animals, and are totally unpredictable. Also, depending on the size of the tank, the Pacu may become aggressive, and bully the pleco to death, even if it doesn't get eaten. Either way, not a good idea.

Plants will disappear in a flash try plastic but even these get chomped, BTW cory NEED to be kept in schools of 4 or more
