Hello all, I was referred to this site from someone on The Planted Tank.
My sister informed me couple weeks ago of a Red Belly Piranha that is in dire need of a home! It is about 6 inches long, and currently resides at a high school class room. However due to its actions of eating the teacher's suckermouth and nomming the head of a Jack Dempsey, the teacher no longer wants the Piranha. The tank now has a divider to prevent any more contact between the Piranha and the Jack Dempsey. Well, I couldn't tell if the teacher was being serious so I waited until now before seriously attempt to help rehome this fish.
As of today, my sister informed me that her other teacher thinks the Piranha is sick or dying due to some neglect. If you can take him in I will be willing to give you the phone number of the school and who to ask for.
I believe the Piranha is free to a good home. Please let me know.
