I have 1 medium piranha about 3 1/2 inches long and 4 small piranha about 2 1/2 inches long what size do you think small piranha need to be before I can put them in same tank as the large piranha, thanks

I would first put all the piranhas in two buckets,rearrange the decor in whatever tank your putting them in,I would put them in all at the same time.

You don't think I should wait till small ones are a bit bigger

power feed the smaller one for a month and they will be same size (feed the big one less than normal and make sure remove it from its tank when add the new one in so the new one don't get bully from the older one, add the big/old one back in after 1 or 2 days.

That's what I been doing small ones are catching up fast, I rescued them all from someone that couldn't be bothered anymore, I had a spare tank in fish room so I took them, but need to get them in 1 tank as I need other tank for breeding, I wait it out for another couple of weeks get them a bit bigger

Also don't be surprised if fish in the 4 to 6 inch range kill a couple of there brothers as this is pretty normal.
