yeah i was thinking tinfoil barbs but yeah they arent three inches there about a inche right now im moving them to a 40 soon for them to grow but i was wanting to put something else in there
As mentioned above, plecos are the only one that can survive with piranhas for long term, everything else gets eaten eventually. I even dropped half inch tetras with my big boy pirayas and ternetzis, they were snacks to them inbetween meals.
no pleco can survive with my rhoms for more than a day. the only tank mate for piranahs are water, gravel/sand...that's about it. anything else will get nipped out. you are welcome to put anything in the tank to try. some may last longer some may not. just don't get too attach to anything you'll be putting together with piranhas. oh and make sure it's healthy just in case it got eaten.
