Ive got 3 RBP's around 3-4 inches each. 90 gallon setup. I tested the pH at around 7.6

Is this too high? And if so what is the recommended pH for proper growth and coloration? thanks

captive bred piranhas are pretty hardy fish and can tolerate any ph between 6-8 the key is a stable pH you don't want rapid swings in pH you need to it be relatively constant and if you do change it it needs to be a very gradual change.

couldn't have said it better myself, A LOT of people will think that since these are amazonian fishes, they need a low pH but this is untrue, i've kept very healthy shoals of rbps with Prime treated tap water and my pH is very high, around 7.8-8.2 and is also very hard
