i have 3 rb piranhas in a 85L tank and i am considering adding 5 neons and a common plec as i have read that the neons are too fast and the plecs are too inactive and love to hide. im thinking that if a got a cave or a form of shelter for them this could be perfect. i already have the 5 neon tetras and the common plec in my other tank. please advise :)
 
how big are the Ps?
my Ps are about 5inches
i have a common pleco
about 5 african cichlids
and tons of guppies lol
for some reason my rbps will only eat orange colored fish or anything orange colored.
 
85 litres ? how big are they m8 common plecs are pretty gd i have 8 RBP'S and a 10 inch common plec with them they get on great! lol i put 10 neons in there till a day afta the aniolated them lol gl on ya choice!
 
to be fair neons are lame but iv grown quite attached so i would like to keep them in my focal point tank. my plec must be about 5'' tops

85 litres yeah, is that good or bad?
 
i think ur gonna need to upgrade soon alot of ppl say 20 gallons per fish i think u might over crowd it by puttin that plec in there 2

maybe, but they also say 1cm per litre my 11''s of rbps come to 27Ls needed for now, plenty of time to upgrade
 
ull be suprised how quick they will grow that tank out id say another month or 2 i have heard that they make 75% of their body mass in the first 12 months im not sure if this is true but gl with it all m8
