Red Belly

Never had this before...one of the rays is a bit reddish on the bottom side and cant stop swimming up the front of the tank. Swimming a lot more than usual and the belly is defiantly darker than the other ones. Is this bad?

what substrate do you have

maybe irritated from the substrate.

This happens to some of my rays (only smaller rays) also and i dont have any substrate in my system. Not sure of the cause but hasnt been a problem for any of my rays they all eat fine and never act funny.

Now that you mention it I did change the substrate. I went out and bought the one that brent has. Does it go away?
