Red Cap Tapajos Geophagus

Found a new shipment of these locally for 12.99 for a 1.25 " specimen.
Haven't really been able to find any info on them. Going to pick a few up tomorrow.

Anyone familiar with them.

This is the only pic I can find of them so far. Reminds me of the Red Heads.

I've NEVER heard of Red Cap before. Looks like a normal Redhead, sorry Japes, Orangehead LOL

That is what I figured also, but I trust the guy and for the price even just
Red Heads is worth it.

Just make sure they are NOT red humps(steinachneri). IMO, the ugliest geo I've ever seen.

Red humps are my personal favorite geo, a lot of personality and interesting behavior, although not as colorful and elegant as most geos. Either way, if the fish in question are redheads it is still a good price and worth the pickup

sounds like orange heads to me..

the link you posted is not tapajos orange head, it is Araguari orange head..

the orange head in titansfever's ava is the tapajos orange head.
