That would make it the 5th species in my tank to breed without me trying to breed them.
i actually thought they were all dead, you see they were originally for our cichlid tank (lol, wasin't thinking) we put them in, cichlids when't to feast.
We saved them and threw them in the 55 gallon community tank, along with the guppys, platies, lobsters, japonia shirmps, crabs and snails...
So far these species have mated in there:
crayfish
guppies(no accompleshments here)
platies(no accompleshments here)
Fiddler crabs(berried twice, droped eggs)
those little snails that breed like wildfire
I woulden't be suprized if the Japonias have mated, but droped the eggs.
I never expected them to breed, so this is cool.
I was just counting them, "Oh! those shrimps are still alive! oh look theres another one! and another... and another... and another... and another..."
Pretty cool, this tank is like a swamp, stinky, dirty, yellow-tinted, but it still manages to stay safe(parameters), and breeds like nothing else.
Minus the cases of serious imbreeding and the occasonal TB outbreak...(pretty much gone now, but theres still some)
One of my guppys has a HUGE tail, probably about the size of a half dollar.
