So my question is, I have a five gallon tank with 12 shrimp and plants and moss. I noticed yesturday that on the moss there were what looked to be bright green shrimp eggs. I'm confused. I've never seen my shrimp hold eggs although I get new baby's every once in a while. What are these? Did a female lay them there? Am I thinking its something else?

RCS carry their eggs. Are you sure what your seeing isn't new plant growth?

I would say some have came loose and fell into moss or like said earlier some new growth unless you have something else in the tank like cory cats.

Shrimp normally hold their eggs in their swimmerets. Some might have come loose when she was moving them around to get the eggs oxygen or it's just plant growth
