This little guy lives with my Red Bellied Piranhas. He's the only invert to survive in this tank and he seems to be a master of hiding. He has all his hideout and escapes planned out and he knows how to hide in the piranhas shadows, etc. he lives in a large hollow log in the tank.

Today he decided to get a bit ballsy.

Check him out, trying to steal their food!

haha. i actually wanted to put one of those in my cichlid tank. he probly wouldnt last long, but i think it would be cool if he does and there is a crab in the tank. just havnt had the balls to try it out yet

There's no harm in trying since they are really cheap.

Inverts are the only things I've had survive in my P tank for any amount of time. I had 2 crawdads last about 2 weeks before they got eaten and the current crab had another with him about a week before he got eaten. Two more crawdads were put in there recently.. not sure if they became food or are hiding cause I haven't seen them since. While they are in there they do a good job sweeping up all the excess food though!

I think this little guy has survived for a few months now. He climbs up the large log in the tank to get air and while he's up there the piranhas can't even see him!
