Any info on these little guys? Heater, partial land, fully aquatic, tank size, etc?

my friend got one and it keep crawling out of his tank and tryed living in his filter he thinks his cat ended up eating him good luck

try googling. they are escape artists, will crawl up heater wires etc to get out of tank.

hehe funny story.

I got one from free the about 2 weeks ago at work, the owner was going out of business so he just gave it to me. he told they were fully aquatic, and would love my african cichlids water. So i said what the hell. About Week ago and i came home and found him on top my fluvals intake. i pushed him off and told him no firmly.

he didnt listen my mom found him near the front door saturday after noon dead. needless to say she had a hissy fit. i found it quite funny, shes scared of the dumbest things.

yea if they can climb out they will, and with intakes and outtakes and heaters etc, you got to be cautious. would cichlids not try to eat it, probably wouldnt have loved the african water either lol
