i was in the lfs and saw red crown ram it had very nice colors and it didnt look like a german or bolivian. does anyone have any info on them???

Most stores call Bolivians that. Are you sure it wasn't a Bolivian? The only other thing it could be are small Biotodoma that have been mislabeled or maybe Microgeophagus sp. "Pindaituba". I doubt it's the latter, though.
it almost looked like a small version of a geo surinemsis. it had the same color bottom fins as one. almost looked fake
