My false red terror(uropthalmus) bred with my red devil. Can they make viable offspring? Has anyone bred these or seen these hybrids. I will post pics of fish hovering over the eggs.

How long does it take for eggs to hatch usually? Will they be ok in the tank after or should i remove them? So many questions!
the eggs will hatch in 3 or 4 days, they will not swim until 2 more days, the parents will take care of them.

That is one of the nicest Uro's i've seen. Granted it is in breeding dress.
I'd see what the fry look like first, and if there are any cool ones keep them.
Don't feed them untill they are free swimming and at this point i feed Hikari First bites. Finely curshed flakes Baby Brine shrimp or bot h work too.

Fry will eat BBS(baby brine shrimp) Just google BBS and you will find out tons of info about them and how to hatch them and etc. Hikari makes a fry food called First Bites, I've used that for my cichlid fry and it worked great. But the simplest way of feeding the fry is just simpling crushing flake food real fine.
