my new red devil 's color has faded after putting him in my tank with my other devils. all my devils color is like a light salmon color but they where vivid red red at the store before i got them why is this? also would a male and female fight all the time or chase each other. my new devil has a totally different personality from my other 2 they are shy and scared but this new devil is crazy banging the glass i think he is a male his head seems bigger and he is chasing the others all over

i'm just keeping 1 i have been looking for a male i think i got one.my other 2 get along fine but this one came in a took over the tank right away he comes right at me and hits the glass follows my finger and got a real attitude.but his color faded just his head is red now body is almost white now wasn't like this at the store.also when would i need to separate there chasing quite a bit but no fighting or biting yet

Usually color fades because they are stressed or are adapting to their surrounding environment. Because he's new to the tank, it's likely the former. However, a tank with light sand or gravel can lighten the color more than it would be with dark substrate.

my sand is white it's weir his head is red like normal his body is almost white.and my other one was almost white then after i added the new one he got his red back weird.
