hello all,

i have a red devil 4in and a 8in sailfin pleco.

can you guess who the boss is?

shrek my devil will not leave dyson my plec alone, it looks to be his mission in life to re-arrange the pebbles in the tank every minute of the day and in his spare time has some food and kicks seven colours out of dyson.

does anyone know if he will every calm down or have i got the next heavy weight champion of the fish tank world in my living room.

Im having the same prob I have a 11-12 midas/red devil mix that spend s all day moving the rocks around I had to take the plec I had with him out since he wouldn’t stop harassing it.

my red devil does the same. ive asked the same question why does my red devil keep moving rocks. the answers i got was they do it so they can feel "more at home". u get me? and yea red devils will dominate ur tank! im supprised my red devil would bother my pleo even thought he is never near where my red devil chills at. lol

ohh yea and u cant stop your red devil from re-arranging the rocks. lol

They move the rocks around to re-arrange the tank, being that they're bored or just making it their territory. If it's bothering your pleco to the point of hurting it, you will probably end up having to seperate the 2, I don't see it getting any better.

ya my rd has killed (4) foot long plecos and one used to live with a crock. so i gave up on putting any more in there. hes a solitary fish
