I have a large red devil who, when I got him had a large patch of white scales that seemed to be growing deformed and I was told that he was always like this. We have had him about 4 months now and he has started developing other patches. The scales and his body go white in the effected area. There doesn't seem to be any fungus or anything stuck on him. He is not sick and is behaving normally but I worry that it could eventually take over and make him sick. The scales are sort of twisted and don't grow straight. It appears to be spreading quite rapidly now and I don't think that he has always been like this. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I could really use some help!
