Diego. A couple in the middle of a divorce took him to the vet to be neutered, and never came back for him. A vet assistant begged me to take him- he was going to be put to sleep. He was such a good dog, the assistant couldn't stand the thought. They must have cared for him at one time- they took the time to teach him tricks (down, stay, shake a paw..more like shake a tree limb). Anyway, he's been with us for 3 yrs, and is a wonderful, smart addition. He tries so hard to be a GOODBOY. Even when Roxie, the trouble making Boxer, pressures him to do bad things.
