Red Devil hump

I put 2 blue gills in my tank with my red devil hopefully this make him get the a hump I know If I was to put a female in there that would work but this might aswell

hey they have pellets for flowerhorns that makes there humps bigger try them for your red devil it might work

I forgot what the flower horn food is called but i know it is expensive

I believe the food is called grand sumo or something like that
Also chingmix if memory serves me right

The size of the nuchal hump has more to do with genetics than anything. Adding other fish will not help.

Use a good staple food,Hikari Bio Gold, Hikari Gold or Kens cichlid pellets,and Kens moist with krill. You can feed other foods high in protein.Crickets, super worms, krill, and market shrimp. These may help. But if your fish does not have the genes,all the food in the world won't make the hump grow.

The flowerhorn food is probably either ching mix head booster or grand sumo. Both run about $15 for standard size.
