I have my female in the 75g and my male in a 29g. I had to move him to the 29g till I can figure out what to do with him, because the female was going to kill him in the 75g. I have decided that I want to keep him, I plan on getting a 125g in a 3 to 4 months to put him in. Will the 5 to 6 inch male be OK in the 29g for 3 to 4 months?

as long as the WC's and filtration are good, it isn't bad for just a little while until you upgrade.
u should of waited longer with the divider method. now you gonna have to start all over, and not to mention that you want the male to be bigger then the female, and keeping him in a 29 "MIGHT" stunt him a little bit.
Thanks for the help everybody. I would have kept the divider in there longer but the woman kept complaining about how ugly it made the tank look. Anyways looks like that "male" isn't a male cause theres eggs in my 29g tank now.
