Red Devil/Jaguar Growth Rate

Red Devils grow at a moderate speed about 4-5 inches a year and the jag will grow about 6-7 inches a year they grow alot bigger than the devil. if u turn up the heat to 82 f and feed alot of protien they will grow bigger, but i recomend a variety of food.
you could prolly get a male jag to 10" in the first year if you house it in a spacious tank and feed it well, assuming you get it around 2" or so. Won't get any less than 8". Red devil male will prolly get 6-8" in the first year of keeping it, if you get it around 2". Females for both fish will grow a good deal slower and stay smaller.
