After checking out this forum a bit, I figured this would be a good place to try to find my red devil "lucifer" a new home. I am moving and cant take him with me. I have had him for about 4 years, and I think he was about a year old when I rescued him from petco. He was in a 5 gallon tank, barley able to turn around. Someone had brought him in because he was killing everything in his tank and petco took him. I brought him home and put him in a 72 gallon and he has been there ever since. Hes very healthy, very active and very vicious. He will attack anyone who comes near the glass, he has definite owner consciousness because he acts differently with me than anyone else. It really sucks to get rid of him but hes gotta go. He is solid orange without any spotting and hes really a majestic animal. I am trying to avoid craigslist because I just envision some stupid kids taking him and using him to fight their other fish. In the 4 years I have had him he has never been with any other fish, always by himself, I have no idea how he would do if introduced to others, perhaps in a big enough tank he would be ok but if this is your plan i would hope you would use a divider at first or at least keep a real close eye on him, I wouldn't want him or your other fish to die. Like most Red devils he is very territorial, look @ the pictures to see what he does to his tank. If it isnt bolted down he will tear it up. I cant even count the times I have had to reattach filters/powerheads/heaters to the glass. His rocks go where he wants them, He seems to hate having rocks inside his caves. Not sure what else to say, he needs a good home with at least a 72 gallon tank and someone who knows what they are doing. Due to his size (i would say about 12 inches) I dont think shipping him would work too well, this would have to be a local pickup from Long Beach, CA (about 30 mins south of Los Angeles, 15 mins north of Huntington Beach).
