Red Devil-Midas-Lemon Cichlid?

I recently got a large Red Devil,or is it a Midas? I have also heard Lemon Cichlid?

lemon cichlid is most likely just another commonname they use for rd's or midas's, though not used as much. in some cases it depends where you got it because many fish stores, sell hybrids of the 2. my inclination is midas. and it is an AWESOME fish.

it really depends where you got it. if you got it from a reliable person like jeff rapps then it is whatever you orderred from him. if it is from a lfs or petco/ petsmart then it is most likely a hybrid between midas and red D

I actually got him from a friend who has determined this guy is causing havoc on other cichlids in his tank .He got him from a LFS tank labeled SA Cichlids ,lots of names and kinds mixed together. He has become the only fish allowed to swim freely in his tank. He grew up from a inch or so with Jacks,Jags and a Green terror and things changed as they got big i guess. Now ill keep him in a 55 for a while till i find a bigger tank to really enjoy him in..
