Agree, I find Red Devils almost impossible to gender ID just by looking at a photo.
Both males and females get nuchal humps.
Both get extended fin trailers.
Males do tend to get larger, but that is only an obvious clue if two or more grow up together.
To get a pair, it is best to acquire 6 to 8 and allow them to grow up together, or if older, sort thing out themselves.
I thought only males get the nunchal humps. Learnt something new. Ok cool. Would you guys say I made a good choice to replace the Oscar with a RD for a wet pet?
