Brought all my tanks and fish to AZ from LV a few weeks ago.
Due to space constraints and complexities getting all the tanks set up our 125G sat outside with the Red Devil in it for two weeks.
I noticed he had developed a white patch on his eye and what appeared to some stringy feces possibly from the bacteria the tank was exposed to outside and the unusually high temp.
Although the water never broke 86 it was still warmer than usual.
A move to a new tank with established media indoors and a quick Praziquental cycle cleared the potential parasite and his eye is clear.
And all in all he looks good.
But I noticed today he has one fin clamped while at rest. He still uses it to swim and it is on the same side as his eye issue.
Could one fin being clamped just be a stress response?
