Red Devil is a South American cichlid

Your in the African Rift Lake Cichlid section, you need to post this question in the Central and South American Cichlids section you'll get more responses there :thumb:

Red devils are central american there are many color variations and they are red devils or more commonly a mix of red devil and midas cichlid

Sometimes when you google "Red Devils" you get pictures of Red Devils, Midas, and crosses of the two. But Red Devils can have distinct color patterns. Sometimes the pattern and colors stay the same and sometimes they will change over time. In a batch of fry, there can be various color patterns in the fish.
