Got some new pics and vid of the strange babies I accepted from a strange man who took some Bala sharks off my hands. Was told he "thought" they were red devils but he'd also inherited them. got a bit suspicious all might not be as it seems when 1 of the 8 i inherited turned out to be a molly!

Some people have told me they might be amphilosus zaliosus which I'd love, have emailed them to rapps but no reply so far. Got 7 of these that are about a month old and range from 2-4cm long. they are permanently hungry and hunt in a pack which is quite unlike any rd's i've seen. when i turn on the light in the morning they are a strange barred navy blue colour.

anyone got a clue?

this is the vid

what ever they are they sure are cute...they do have something about their face that resembles RD ..

Well I don't know what they are, but I know they are not Trimacs and they don't look like any juvie RD I have ever seen. or any Juvie fish I have ever seen for that matter. Pretty cool lookin little guys though
