I have 5 red devils in a 70g tank, they are as follows:
(I think)
2 Males:
12''
6''
3 Females:
4''
5''
8''

They all live together with no problems, they don't fight they only kill any other type of fish that I introduce to the tank (i.e: Piranha, African Chiclids, etc..).

I want them to breed, I know you can't force fish to breed, but is there anything in particular I have to do to make it more likely they breed? Two of them are always together and I think they want to mate, but all thats in the tank with them are 2 log decorations. Do I need to put in a flat surface?? I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance.

The Red Devils have been living together for about 5-6 months now.

if you thinking they're going to breed I suggest removing them form the tank into a separate 70gal. things will get messy in the future if they spawn.

well, you're going to need a bigger tank to begin with

Yeah, larger tank definately. Mine seem to like slate piles to breed in/on.
