my red devils kok is small. Is there any way i can help promote growth of his fore head with causing any harm to RD. if possible could i try feeding FH kok enhancer to my red devil?

Red devil don't have koks, kok is a flowerhorn term.

Viagra. Might want to weigh the guy and figure out the correct dosage. A whole blue may stand him straight up in the tank. If it lasts longer than 4 hours, call the vet.

its called a "nuchal hump"

Is your Red Devil even a male? Are you sure? POSITIVE!!!? And Red Devils dont get very big nuchal humps to begin with.. Amphilophus citrinellus or Midas cichlids do however. You may have a hybrid which would mean decreased nuchal hump size.

How old is he? You could try and add a mirror on the side of the tank and see if that helps?! Or put a female in with him? Also make sure water quality is top notch! It does make a difference with their Nuchals.

He has no reason to have a large nauchal hump without other cichlids to dominate.

Good point....... lots of good advice in this thread!

Having competitors helps (safer in a neighboring tank). Also, clean, clean, clean, CLEAN water is the biggest factor in all sorts of fish health.
