My male red dovii and female Honduran jag has spawned. Anyone had this hybrid before? If so post up how the frys turned out. I want to see how this cross will look.

Jagovii cichlids are really cool. Ive never seen any with a red dovii parent. Could turn out meh, could turn out really cool. I would definitely grow some out.
Not exactly the same, regular Dovii rather than a red one, but same two fish.
Nice. I've always wanted some but people never want to ship them. So now I have my own breed. I'm hoping for jag shape and patterns with dovii reds.
Lovely lil hybrid ya got there. Can really see traits from both parents showing. Honestly kind of reminds me of a largemouth bass with those colors and pattern. It'll be interesting to see how OP's hybrids turn out. I wonder tho if they will be closer to the color of a gold Jag or a red Dovii.
