Can anyone tell me what to look for in a 2 to 3 in red dragon flower horn so i can see if it is a red dragon flowerhorn. I picked one up from my LFS and it was marked as a red dragon flower horn. so i was wondering if there is any way to tell when this small all help will be great i will try to get pics of it when it lets me.

a pic of ur FH would help id your fish.

i am trying toget a pic of it but it doesnt stay still long enough it is only 2 maybe 3 in so it doesnt really have color yet the belly is red and the fins are red with a hit of purple in it

Hey ZZ stands for zhen zhou it one of the most common strains of FH because it is generally more fertile than others making it easier to breed and more of them around as a result, within zz there are different types like red dragon and blue dragon. Pics would definitely help with an ID. Sometimes purple can mean if its on a red dragon that its a low grade but thats not to say it won't be beautiful and you won't love it!
Hope this helps...
Cheers Mat
