I seperated them a couple months ago by size and it seems the slower growing ones are more of a shiney gold and green, where the bigger ones have more red and pearls. Here's a few shot for ya. Please tell me what you think.

interesting for sure......1st off they are totally showing a jack and flowerhorn shape....2nd they should show nice pearls if the parents both had good pearls.....3rd the fish in the 2nd and 3rd picture appears to have a lot of blue on the gill plates which is a trait found on female jacks....keep us posted....i know i would love to watch them develop!!!!!!!

Thanks. I was thinking that the slower growing ones were female so you are probably right the ones with blue green gill plates are females. The father who passed away recently was very pearly, he was the jd part. I have alot more pics because i just bought a new cannon rebel eos t1i so i'm playing quite a bit trying to learn all the bells and whistles. Let me know if ya want more pics.

I definitely wanna see pics as they age to see their parents traits develop.....feel free to PM me when you have pic updates.....would love to watch these guys and girls....
