i never thought of that. i heard of angels and sevs doing that. there have always been LOTS of eggs. and people said that the RD breeding was very odd for her size (she started breeding at 3") still even if this were true, i do not plan to atemp to toss a decent sized male to breed with, as the cichlids are starting to bore me. they show typical breeding signs:female over eggs, other fish guarding. If they are both female, would both wach the eggs, or would one assume the job of securing the area, and one, the eggs?
Female RD 4", male parrot 6-7". infertile pair they've bred about 8 times. don't you hate it when infertile pairs keep breeding. its in the center, in back of the tank. to bad an angle to get pics, buts it's not like i need to. they are already a creamy color
