Anyone know for how long can these guys live outside the water? Would it be safe to take it out of its habitat and take him outside to chew on some grass?

i have had one escape and couldent find him for 3 weeks

i found it in a closet. i still have the guy.

most of the time they wont eat out of the water

You can let him walk around or bask in the sun but they won't eat out of water.

make sure you put it near the sun to bask because you dont wanna get your turtle frozen
