ok so i got a call from my uncle saying that he found a red eared slider in his pool last night. when i got it to my house it was breathing heavily. i thought it might have been from the chlorine but turns out that this morning i notice it only has 3 legs the front left is missing(the whole claw webbed part). i noticed this morning while mesuring it. its about 2 inches. it was in a cycled heated ten gallon tank last night as i was planning to put it in my pond today. HELP PLEASE WHAT DO I DO ??
I really want it live.

Im not an expert but we had some but they were 4 times that size. Make shure that it has land than it can easily climb on to, at almost any pet store you can buy sreashal food for turtuls and make shure he eats. On land you can put lettus tiny chopped carrots and choppes cucumbers that it might eat. - I want it to live too!!!!!!:(

thanks but it just passed away. i went out to try to feed it and it was compleatly still not even a movment. rip unnamed turtle

make sure bleeding as stopped and turtle is looking healthy. if you do put him in a pond make sure he has somewhere to bask where nothing can get you him

is there anything in the pond?

he seems to be hyperthermic, make sure you giving him heatly foods
