Yes, I've caught many over the years but mostly adults. I think I've caught maybe a half dozen Eft forms. The adults can be kept like fire-bellied newts.

I found one once when I was young. Very cool animal that starts off in water, heads to land and then returns to water for adult hood.

There are tons of them where I work. In the small streach of road I walk I can find a dozen or more in a day. Most are young, born this year no doubt. Typically I find them on wet warm fall days. They are probably migrating from the ponds they hatched in and seeking out place for winter.

We care for 3 or 4 of them at the nature center. Pretty easy. They just went off-display in exchange for a native fish tank with some eels, madtoms, etc. I don't mess with them too much, they arent good for showing guests or anything, but the babies are radiant orange!

catch some and send them to me!!!!!

If you know where to look, you can probably find all you want on your own. Check near pools or ponds in leaf litter, under logs, etc. I've even found them under flag stones on a path.
