Red fin (blue) loach with discus ?

Why would you want to? They come from different parts of the world.

But overall there wouldn't be a problem. They're pretty peaceful, but keep in mind they can get up to 8"

no i have 10 of them and i'll be puting them in a 180g.....is there growth rate like clown loachs ??

Are you talking about Yasuhikotakia modesta? If so, I'd leave them out. They can dominate even midsized central american cichlids. And they don't care for each other that much either.

Ol school diehard hobbyist dont like mixing but i mix my discus with tang cichlids. they dont get to big and arnt aggressive. right now i have frontosa with them and some alto calvus's and some shelldwellers(ocellatus something). ive had this mix for years. also have bichirs with them before. In my opinion i luv mixing fishes, If it works it works if not oh well. always failures in the fish game but its all up to you what matters.
