red fin wolf with ich

hi all, how do you treat ich in wolf fish? I currently use salt and bump the water temp, is there anything else I could do? how long should I expect before the ich is gone?

Sounds good to me. Expect anywhere from 2-12 days depending on the strain of ick. I caught mine early on, and it didn't hit him bad and only lasted about two days with no real outbreak.

No problem

Also, wolfs tend to be very resilient to ick. I have been working at a LFS since may and have never seen a dead wolf fish, but I saw about 10-15 with ick that got better.

wow, glad to hear that, my tank is bare bottom, no decorations all, I suspect the ich came from the live food I gave him. Other than that, I always keep the water at around 27 degree.

I used aquri-sol to rid my raphael spotted cat. It worked good for ich and didnt hurt any of the plants i was growing.

thanks for the input. The ich has gone since 3 days ago, and now he is back with his daily routine, eats, poops, and fart.
