Red finned Datnoid

I was at my local LFS and the tank said Red Finned Datnoid 10$. I was like cool i going to by one but nothing looked like Datnoids in the tank. I thought someone bought them or the FS marked the fish worng. Is there even such thing as a red finned datnoid

A common mistake made by lfs's is to sell mangrove jacks (Lutjanus argentimaculatus) as red-finned or red datnoids. This brackish water juvie snapper eventually requires increases in salinity up to full marine conditions as an adult.
