red fungus/growth on texas cichlid and red devil

could anyone ID what type of disease I may be dealing with? here is a pic....you can see it on the base of his pectoral fin, and my red devil has one similar in the centre of his tail fin...it doesn`t seem to be affecting them, but am a little worried.

it is bright red in reality...the pic is not great as from my phone....it is raised also.

Are the scales pushing out? Did it eat heavily today?

its on his fin Miguel...and no they have been fed as normal.

Is it a kind of nodule, scarish tissue on the fin? I still do not see it, just asking...

lol it is hard to see Miguel....here is another pic, much less focused, but shows the bit I mean....the red area on the pectoral fin.
